Malou Meyenhofer
Malou Meyenhofer is a trained educator. She received her diploma as a school teacher in Switzerland in 2001. She is also a professionally trained dancer who has received her Contemporary Dance Stage Degree from the Zurich Dance Theater School in Dance and Choreography, Zurich, Switzerland, 2004

Since finishing her school training she has been working in these two complementary professions continuously. As a teacher in public school, she has had numerous experiences with groups of young people with difficult situaTons and group dynamics (teacher burnout, foreign children with different needs, children with behavioral difficulTes, etc.).
As a dancer she has danced in several Swiss engagements and as a choreographer created many original pieces.

Tim Collins
Tim Collins finished his education at the University of Washington with a BA in Linguistics in 2004. During his academic studies he began to increasingly focus on dance and to train as a dancer with an emphasis on African American Jazz dances. Since 2001 he has taught and performed Lindy Hop and other swing dances.

His father settled in India in 2001 which prompted Tim to visit this country several times. His experience with Indian culture, history and the warmth of its people nurtured his dream to use his knowledge in a charity project there. Utilizing his skills in Film making, Photography, Writing & Web Design, the founding of the Association Dance Across Cultures is beginning of this dream.
