March 13th, 2010...a Lindy Hop competition for one and all!

Savoy Swing Jam returns as THE competition for Seattle and Pacific Northwest lindy hoppers! Five hours of competitions and social dancing for FREE – that’s right, there’s no admission fee. And competitions are never more than $5 per person.

Savoy Swing Jam is produced by:

Mark is famous (some might say infamous) and ever-present figure of the Seattle lindy hop scene. A teacher, DJ, and emcee, Mark is found at every local dance event, and national and international events as well! He's been on staff at Herrang Dance Camp for years and one of the coordinators of Sweden's annual Jazz Jam competition.	Casey has been a staple of the Seattle lindy hop scene for a decade. She teaches regularly in Seattle and across the country, and performs with Seattle's chorus girl troupe, Sister Kate (the perfect excuse to dress up in elaborate costumes). Casey was a three-time manager for the world-renowned Camp Jitterbug, and by day she works for CRG Events.
