Dancers for DAC!

Spend just a moment to think about what you could do in your dance community.

Do you have a dance school, or do you organize events and have people who would support a fundraiser? Do you know someone who does?

Do you know a local venue that might donate space for a workshop, and teachers who might donate some workshops? Could you host a barbeque, or dance-a-thon, or a bake sale?

Could you screen our film ‘The Adivasi Shim Sham’ to raise awareness for our project in your community? Perhaps theirs is a dance event happening in your area already.  Could you ask the organizers to create a Dancers for DAC! Booth, or fundraising announcement? Could you sell DAC merchandise in your community?

Anything is possible, and everything helps.

On our web site www.danceacrosscultures.org we’ll track your progress. Send an email to: info@danceacrosscultures.org saying you or your organization would like become a supporter of Dancers for DAC!, and tell us your fundraising idea and details. We’ll announce it in our newsletter, feature you on our web site, add your event to the fundraising calendar and let you and your supporters see exactly how your donation is helping on our Blog.

On our web site in the Dancers for DAC! Section you can download a package containing resources for facilitating an event. This includes an email announcement for you to copy and paste, printable event posters, flyers, email collection sheets, and more. Also Dancers for DAC! organizers can download a high quality version of our film ‘The Adivasi Shim Sham’ to screen at your event.

Just one yearly event in your community will go a long way to aid these children.  We ask you to start now, grow with us, and help create something that will create positive change in many children’s lives. Please read our entire sponsoring concept at here and send us an email with your Dancers for DAC! fundraising idea.

From us at Dance Across Cultures and on behalf of the parents and children of the village Khambhacha Phada, Mumbai, we thank you.

Warmly,

Tim Collins & Malou Meyenhofer
